ICIAP 2009 AWARDS
IAPR Best paper award
The award will be given to the best paper accepted to the conference.
The prize consists in a plaque and in a monetary award and will be conferred during the conference Gala Dinner.
To be considered for the prize, papers must fulfill the following requirements:

The paper must have been selected for publication in the ICIAP2009
proceedings

The paper must be presented (in either oral or poster presentation)
at ICIAP2009 conference

Papers previously published or invited by the conference organizers
(or in general that do not undergo a peer reviewing process) are ineligible for the best paper prize
-
This prize cannot be assigned to the paper that will receive the Caianiello student paper award
The committee for the ICIAP2009 best paper will consist of at least 3 experts selected
by the ICIAP2009 General Chair. The winner will be selected among the 10 papers with the highest ratings
in the peer reviewing process. The committee will take into account mainly the originality of
the paper and the relevance of the treated subject.
Caianiello student paper award
The best paper by a young author will be awarded the Caianiello Prize. Eligibility for the award
is restricted to papers authored or co-authored by a young researcher
(PhD student, Post Doc, or similar positions).

by a young researcher with the highest ratings in the peer reviewing process. The committee will take
into account mainly the originality of the paper and the relevance of the treated subject.
