Introduction

This is the home page of the first edition of the contest on Graph Embedding for Pattern Recognition , that will be hosted by the ICPR 2010 Conference to be held in Istanbul on August 23-26, 2010. This contest is supported by the Technical Committee TC15 of IAPR on Graph Based Representation in Pattern Recognition .

Benchmarking of graph-related algorithms has been a major topic of interest for TC15 since its inception; TC15 has been maintaining since more than 5 years a web page devoted to benchmarking with several graph databases. Thus TC15 will fully endorse this initiative; moreover, the new graph database used for this contest will be added to the TC15 Web site and a link to the article summing up the results of this contest will also be added to the TC15 Web site (within the limitations of the eventual copyrights).
